Why Bamboo?

Bamboo is a very fast growing, versatile, sustainable eco-friendly renewable natural resource. It has more than 1678 species classified under115 genera. Bamboo are called as "Friend of people", "Poor man's timber", "Green gasoline", "The cradle to coffin timber".

Bamboo is utilized for many different things, such as fuel, paper, lumber, building materials, charcoal, edible shoots, cottage businesses, etc. Bamboos have a great deal of potential to replace wood which is termed as vegetable streel with the tensile strength of 28,000 per square and provide earthquake resistant structures. Bamboo helps to protect the environment conditions including land restoration, prevent soil erosion, reducing reforestation bamboo, leaf litter enrich the soil with organic matter and improve the fertility of degraded soil. An essential component of the atmosphere's carbon dioxide and oxygen balance is bamboo. Compared to a stand of trees of the same size, a grove of bamboo releases 35% more oxygen. As a result, growing bamboo is an excellent method to lessen your carbon footprint and contribute to the global warming effort.
